Free EMS Continuing Education

| Doctors Medical Center-Modesto offers eight hours of Category 1 continuing education for EMTs & Paramedics each quarter. Summer Fun 2001 will be Friday, August 30th (an A-watch day) from 08:00 to 17:00. Topics presented will include: The Innies and Outies of Penetrating Trauma, hands on workshops on Pediatric Airway, IO and IV skills and an EKG challenge. Norm Rooker will be making two presentations: Crush Injuries: From Compartment Syndrome to “Smiling Death” and Rodeo EMS: Mama’s Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Rodeo Medics.
