PLAY-OFFS:

The top 4 teams will enter the playoffs. First place team will play the 4th place team and the 2nd place will play the 3rd place team. If this does not determine the top 4, time permitting we will play it off, otherwise a flip of the coin will determine the top 4.

UMPIRES:

Games will be played on Tuesdays at 9:30 A.M. and 11:30 A.M. Each team playing the 11:30 A.M. game shall furnish one umpire for the 9:30 A.M. game and vice-versa. TEAMS WILL BE CHARGED $10 FOR EACH GAME THEY FAIL TO UMPIRE FOR.

TROPHIES: Awarded to League Champion and runner-up.

CANCELLATIONS:

(ANY 1 FORFEIT - AUTOMATICALLY DROPPED FROM THE LEAGUE) Any cancellations or rescheduling of games, FOR ANY REASON will be made only by the Commissioner. If a team cancels a game with a 24-hour notice, there will be a $10 fine. All notices of cancellations MUST BE MADE THROUGH AL GUGHEMETTI, Treasure Island. If a team fails to show and no notice given, it will be a forfeit, with a $20 fine and the team will be dropped from the League.

ONLY LOCAL 798 MEMBERS IN GOOD STANDING ARE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE.

An automatic forfeit will be made for any teams using anyone not a member of Local 798 in good standing.

NOTE: UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES will cancellations be made between any 2 teams scheduled to play on a schedule date. Any team or teams that cancel or reschedule their games at different times or parks without the Commissioner’s okay, will automatically be considered a loss for both teams. There is too much time spent in making up a schedule to have individuals change it and too many people inconvenienced.

SCORES: UMPIRES TO CALL IN SCORES TO TREASURE ISLAND AFTER EACH GAME to Albert Gughemetti at (415) 391-4204.

BASES: Each game will have to furnish its own bases. Bases are not available from the Park & Recreation Department.

BALLS: Each team to furnish a new ball for each game. No rubber covered balls or flight restricted (red seams) allowed. ONLY APPROVED ASA or USSSA BALLS TO BE USED.

SLIDING: ALLOWED

RE-ENTRY RULE: Allowed to re-enter one time but must re-enter into original batting order.

NEW RULES:

I. Inning- 9 or 7 innings to be decided by both teams and umpires prior to start of game

II. Balls & Strikes - After two strikes, one foul ball is allowed. The batter is out with the second foul.
