Special Olympics of Northern California would like to offer this letter of thanks and appreciation to the 2003 Walk For The Gold Firefighters Volunteer Committee and all of the members and organizations of the San Francisco Fire Department which participated in making the November 1, 2003, Walk For The Gold at Pac Bell Park a huge success.

The collective efforts of the volunteer members, whether it was marking and monitoring the route of the walk, inflating and placing balloons, assisting with registration and/or staffing medical stations combined to make the event an overwhelming accomplishment.
