| The time for pulling the SFFD together is now. There are too many groups from within our Department that are going in what seems to be a different direction. We are a diverse Department, that should not make us go in different directions. There needs to be a constructive, positive direction. Member that are directing their energy toward the breakdown of Local 798, the SFFD, and singling out individuals should think about what they are trying to accomplish. Is it constructive? Will the end result make the SFFD better? How about the families that it affects? Morale has never been lower. The answer is simple. Do what is right. What can I do to make things better. I encourage all members to work through Local 798. Participate. Good things can and will happen if you are involved. Get involved and work with a positive attitude towards a positive end. Stay safe. |
