Happy New Year! Now that youve made your New Years resolutions,
why not make one more. Encourage your friends and family to participate
in the training program. Its free. Its fun. And its our
departments best public relations program. The Winter/Spring
Schedule has been released. Our goal is to bring the N.E.R.T.
program to all the neighborhoods in the city. We need your help
to spread the word to the residents of San Francisco. There are
classes scheduled throughout the city in the upcoming months.
Why not hand out some flyers (available at the NERT office) while
youre on duty.
1) At your next school drill, hand some flyers out to the principal.
Get them interested. Encourage the staff to take NERT Training. Flyers are available from the NERT office by calling 558-3456. We all have a responsibility to keep our city safe. Why not promote our own N.E.R.T. program. Remember, the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake was only a wake up call for San Francisco to be more prepared for the next Great Earthquake. |
