Matt remains at San Francisco General Hospital, where he is being cared for in the ICU by the spectacular neurotrauma team.  Matt has been through 2 successful surgeries to alleviate pressure on his brain.

    Blood Drive

IMPORTANT REMINDER: The appointments for next week's blood drive are very low. Also if anyone is willing to volunteer to help promote the drive that would be great. “As a reminder, SF Firefighters Union 798 is hosting a blood drive next week and we need your help. Right now there is an urgent need for O- blood, the universal blood type that all patients can receive. There is also an increased demand for convalescent plasma. Donors whose blood tests positive for antibodies can help a COVID 19 patient with their plasma while their other blood components may help a trauma victim, cancer patient or someone with another serious medical condition.

2020 IAFF Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial Virtual Remembrance

Dear IAFF Families, Under normal circumstances, we would all be getting ready to travel to Colorado Springs for the Memorial Ceremony.  Sadly, that is not happening this year, but we hope that you are able to make the trip next year for the in-person Ceremony.
